

ANNUAL STUDENT ART SHOW
6th EDITION
The Annual Student Art Show (ASAS) is a flagship initiative of Funun Arts Group in Dubai (UAE). ASAS has collaborated with Youth Creative Minds Hub for a great opportunity to young creatives. This event is dedicated to nurturing young artistic talent and fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and global connection.
The Artist Cube is proud to partner up with ASAS to bring global opportunities to Canadian youth.
ASAS 2026 — Process Documentation Requirement
Process Photos
Participants should take photographs throughout the development of their artwork.
Artwork Size / Medium
Number of Photos
Recommended: 3–5 clear process photographs showing different stages.
60 cm X 60 cm / Any Medium.
What to Capture
Research/sketches → experimentation → development → artwork in progress → final artwork.
Authenticity
Photos should demonstrate that the artwork was developed by the student.
Sketchbook Evidence
Work-in-Progress
Include sketches, brainstorming, colour studies, motif development or material experiments where applicable.
At least one photograph should show the artwork while it is being created.
Final Artwork
Include a separate, high-quality photograph of the completed artwork.
Photo Quality
Images should be clear, well-lit and free from unnecessary distractions.
File Naming
Suggested: Name_ArtworkTitle_Process1, Process2, Final.
Privacy
Avoid including other students or identifiable personal information in process photographs unless permission has been obtained.

RECOMMENDED PROCESS SEQUENCE
1. RESEARCH Photograph research, references, notes and inspiration.
2. IDEATION Photograph brainstorming, concept sketches and initial ideas.
3. EXPERIMENTATION Photograph material, colour, technique or composition experiments.
4. DEVELOPMENT Photograph the artwork in progress.
5. FINAL Photograph the completed artwork separately.
Final Submission Checklist
