Amber Kazmi | Badshahi Mosque 1
$400.00Price
Amber Kazmi is a Canadian based Pakistani artist working primarily in acrylic. Amber’s paintings reflect a blend of her Pakistani heritage and Canadian perspective, finding calm in timeless places. Her work has been exhibited in galleries across Dubai, including World Art Dubai.
This historical marvel called Badshahi Mosque was built in 1673 during the Mughal era in Pakistan. This painting portrays the title of the exhibition, “Faith and Heritage ” perfectly. I tried to capture the play of light, shadow and the feeling of peace this building holds. Pigeons not only add life to the painting but it's also a symbol of peace. Lantern is used as a symbol of hope.
