Hanieh Jasemian | Letter’s Symphony
Hanieh Jasemian is a visual artist specializing in Persian calligraphy and contemporary acrylic painting.
Hanieh merges the grace of traditional calligraphy with the expressive freedom of modern abstract art.
Each piece becomes a fusion of word and color-where poetic text or letters flows through layered compositions, rooted in a deep respect for Persian cultural heritage, Hanieh uses calligraphy not only as a form of visual beauty but as a means of emotional expression. Acrylics provide a dynamic backdrop, allowing for texture, movement and bold experimentation with form based in Iran.
Hanieh creates original woks and exhibitions that celebrate the interplay of language, art and identity.
Through this unique blend of old and new, Hanieh invites viewers into a space where tradition speaks through contemporary brushstrokes. My creative inspiration is rooted in the exploration of contrasts—where the ancient art of calligraphy meets the dynamic energy of modern abstraction. The blending of turquoise and gold hues symbolizes a bridge between tradition and contemporary expression. The varying textures and fluidity of the Persian script capture both the beauty and movement of language, transforming each character into a visual rhythm. Each brushstroke represents a dialogue between form and void, where the space between the letters becomes as important as the letters themselves. The geometric arrangement and the interplay of bold and subtle colors convey a sense of balance and harmony, suggesting that beauty can be found in both chaos and order. This piece reflects my continuous quest to explore the layers of meaning within words and their ability to transcend mere communication, becoming a powerful visual experience.
