My creative practice centers on the interplay between sacred heritage, floral biomorphism, and modern visual expression. Driven by a desire to honor Islamic artistic traditions—particularly Tezhib illumination, manuscript art, and Mughal architectural geometry—my work translates historic symbolism into contemporary visual dialogues. I am fascinated by how natural forms can reflect spiritual order, balance, and the infinite beauty of creation.
My creative process is both meditative and physical. Depending on the narrative of the piece, I alternate between the disciplined precision of watercolor glazes on archival paper and the dynamic energy of heavy impasto acrylics applied with palette knives on canvas. This duality allows me to explore both subtle, transcendent luminosity and rich, tactile presence.
