NARGIS NAQVI

Mixed Media artist  | Resin Artist | Art Mentor | Co-Founder and Exec Director TAC

Nargis Naqvi is a mixed media artist with over 25 years of experience creating abstract and figurative work defined by bold color and rich texture. Layered materials and physical surface bring depth and movement to each piece, as the work shifts between representation and abstraction. She is also a resin preservation artist and is able to assist with starting resin preservation as a business.

Beyond the studio, Nargis has spent decades shaping the local arts community: serving as Exhibition Director for the Fine Artist Society of Milton, Exhibition Coordinator for MuslimFest in 2004 and 2005, and co-founding The Artist Cube, a space built to support and showcase working artists. That combination — decades of studio practice alongside years of organizing exhibitions and building artist-centered spaces — informs how Nargis now mentors other artists.
